It started with a cookie jar
Before there was Crunchfield, there were Nana’s chocolate chip cookies, Grandfather Bob’s holiday sugar cookies, Grandpa Crutchfield’s garden, and a larger-than-life Little Red Riding Hood cookie jar. Those childhood memories shaped the flavors we love and the way we bake today.
And the name? We put a little crunch into Crutchfield.
Crunchfield is a play on our founder’s family name, Crutchfield. We swapped ‘Crutch’ for ‘Crunch’ to honor our grandparents and the joy of breaking into a great cookie — crisp edges, soft centers and plenty of crumbs.
